Working Together To Achieve More

MISSION STATEMENT
As a Spring Grove Area High School Student, I will...respect Myself, Peers and Staff, take responsibility for my behaviors and actions, and strive to make right choices in school and in life. When I do this, I will make SGAHS a place where all people feel welcome, safe and challenged to learn.

The School Wide Effective Behavior Support Program is a school wide initiative that aims to decrease unwanted student behaviors, and instead recognize positive contributions of the students' actions. The foundation came from PBS (Positive Behavior Supports) which focuses on building skills and recognizing positive behaviors. This allows for issues such as bullying, social skills, and resilience building, to be addressed and improved upon.
